Mid North Coast NSW organic macadamia nuts
Macadamia nuts are native to Australia and are considered to be the most expensive nut in the world. They primarily grow on the east coast of southern Queensland and northern NSW, and are cracked in Nambucca. Macadamias are packed with minerals such as magnesium, potassium and calcium as well as good fats.
All our macadamia nut kernels, macadamia nut spread and macadamia oil are certified organic!
Southern Ocean Australian sea salt
The Southern Ocean is known to be the cleanest ocean in the world. Southern Ocean sea salt is the purest sea salt you can find.
Australian seaweed
Is clean, fresh, packed with nutrients and rich in flavour.
Saltbush
Salt bush is a native Australian arid shrub. It can be found throughout Australia, especially in dry regions and more around Southern parts of Australia.
Australian Myrtles
Australia is home to over 1500 species of Myrtles. Myrtles are known for their glossy leaves, five petaled flowers and aroma. Historically myrtles have been used for cooking, flavouring and therapeutic properties. Most of our blends contain at least one type of Myrtle, including but not limited to:
Lemon myrtle
Which has a nice citrusy essence, with a subtle sweet and herby flavour. Mainly grows in subtropical rainforest and coastal areas of Queensland and Northern NSW.
Cinnamon myrtle
Tastes like cinnamon with a slight fruity twist and primarily grows in subtropical rainforest around the east coast of Australia.
Native Plums
While consumed by our first nations people for millennia, our native plums have become a modern day Australian superfood.
The most popular ones which are used in some of our products are the:
Kakadu plum
Which has the highest amount of vitamin C in the world and as its name suggest is found in kakadu and north parts of Australia, including Northern WA and Northern Queensland.
Davidson plum
Has the second highest level of vitamin C and is characterised by its natural reddish-pink inside and grows in rainforests of Queensland and NSW.
Native Berries
Australia has a variety of native berries which we have used to replace refined sugar and to add an extra unique experience to our bush flavours.
Out of the berries selection we have mainly used:

Which can be found both in Southern and Northern parts of Australia.
We will also be introducing other native berries, such as paroo lily, midyum berries and pepper berries in selected upcoming flavours.
Expectations
Australian bush foods are extremely special because of our unique climate and have a different flavour profile. Even though we have tried to bridge our blends and combinations with current market trends we are still keeping it authentic to give you that one of a kind Australian experience.
Our native ingredients range from rare arid bush herbs and spices to fruits, nuts, seeds and seaweed. Generally speaking most of our spices have an intense sharp taste while some of our fruits have a citrusy, light bitterness and natural sweetness to it.
